PDGA “A” Tier Event!
All Players Must Be Current PDGA Members

VENUE:
The 2008 Edition of TxSDGC will be held at the Quail Valley Country Club (QVCC) in Missouri City, just Southwest of Houston. QVCC is a traditional style country club and was the site of two PGA events (that’s PGA without the D) in ’73 and ‘74. Three new disc golf courses are now layed out on areas no longer being used for ball golf. We will be accessing the entire facility including restaurant, grill, bars, banquet room, patio deck, and locker rooms. This will be a disc golf event unlike any other you have ever attended!

OPTIONAL REGISTRATION FEES:
  • Ace Pot - You may elect to pay an additional $5 to enter the Ace Pot. If no Aces are hit during the 1st three rounds, then there will be a Ring of Fire throw-off before the Final 9 holes on Sunday.
  • Meals - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are all available at QVCC. You can pre-pay for your lunch on Saturday ($10.00) and/or Sunday ($8.00). Visit www.TexasStates.org for details.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:
  • Friday Pick-Partner Doubles - If you would like to play Doubles on Friday, then you can register on Friday from 2:00-4:00 PM (Flex Start).
  • Hunt for Wilmont's $100 Treasure
  • Indoor/Outdoor Party Saturday Night at QVCC
  • Indoor Fly Mart Saturday Night The Fly Mart will be located near the Bar at QVCC! Visit www.TexasStates.org for details.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • All Players will receive a Player's Package, including a Black Gold Stamped Putter!
  • Mandatory Players' meeting at 8:50 A.M. Saturday
  • There are no Saturday Sign-ups or Guaranteed Spots for late sign-ups, so register early!
  • All Players must be current PDGA Members

HOW TO REGISTER:
To register on-line, simply complete the registration form below. A non-refundable on-line registration fee of $5.00 will be added to on-line registrations. Once you have registered and paid, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from customerservice@discnation.com. If you do not receive a confirmation, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILTER. If you still do not have a registration confirmation e-mail, then we have not received your completed entry.

On-line registrations will be accepted until Noon on April 2nd. After this time, registrations will only be accepted by Mail and a $10 late fee will be required. Please note that there will be no Saturday sign-ups. The registration dead-line will be Friday, April 4th at 8:00 PM.

Disc Golf (also known as "Frisbee Golf" and "Folf" or "Frolf" and even "Disk Golf") is played much like traditional golf. Players use flying discs (golf discs or Frisbees®) and play holes that start with a tee area and end with a Disc Golf Basket or Target. The object: complete the hole by putting your golf disc in the basket in the fewest number of throws. The sport was formalized in the 1970s and is governed by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). There are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
