We are excited to announce the launch of the DGA Dream Course Giveaway contest for 2011. This years course giveaway has elements that are similar to past years, but with an added twist. The twist.....we are giving each person TWO chances to win a 9 hole Custom Mach III course with each disc purchased.

DGA has teamed up with 2011 Am Worlds and Disc Nation to provide you with this unique opportunity to own your very own Dream Course.

Head over to our good friends at Disc Nation to purchase the very rare and sought after SP Hurricanes with artwork developed specifically for the Am Worlds. Each disc will come with a unique raffle ticket. Just by purchasing the disc, you are entered for your first chance to win a custom colored Mach III 9 hole course.

The SP Hurricane is our new high speed driver that has been turning a lot of heads with it's speed and control. The SP Line version is being released in very limited numbers this year. This promotion is one of the few places to get it. Only 1000 will be produced for this contest.

Now it's time to answer the burning question above. Head over to the DGA Facebook page to enter the "Dream Course Giveaway" essay contest*. Tell us what you'd do if you won your very own dream course in 300 words or less. Get creative...it's your dream....and you will be graded on your answer.

* You will need the raffle ticket number associated with your disc to enter the essay portion of the contest. This ticket number will be your key. Once you receive this ticket number (either by email or by physically receiving the disc), you'll be able to enter the contest.

Get your friends and family to vote for your essay.

Are You Next?

Use the viral nature of Facebook to promote your essay to all your friends. The top five vote getters at the end of the judging period will be our finalsts. Shameless plugging of your essay is acceptable. You will have the ability to share your essay as soon as you complete it. We've made it very easy to do, so we want to see who is the best at attracting votes with their essay and plugging.

Voting will end on July 18th, at which time the top five vote-getters will be our finalists. A panel of judges will then convene to pick the winner, based on content and creativity of their essay. The winner will be announced during the week of Am Worlds. Both course winners will be announced the same night.

All proceeds to support the 2011 PDGA Amateur World Championships

DGA is excited to be teaming up with the Greater Rochester Disc Golf Club for this promotion. All proceeds from the sale of the Am Worlds SP Hurricanes will go to support the event.
