Fade Gear Crunch Box

The FADE Crunch Box is a great disc golf bag with a funny name. This durable and fine-looking bag is designed to hold 10-12 discs, and comes in a slew of eye-catching colors. According to the manufacturer just owning one will let you tell people you ACE at least one hole every game. :)

You can search, but you won't find another bag with a feature list like this one at this price. The guys at Fade Gear claim to have a crew of Howler Monkeys that test their bags harder than they'll ever be used. They're tests not withstanding, we've found these bags to be very well made and well appointed.

The Crunch Box features a main compartment with capacity for up to 12 discs and a front putter pocket with capacity for an additional 2 discs. The crunch box has 4 additional pockets of various sizes and shapes, as well as a clip for car keys and a towel clip.

Fade Gear has a great eye for detail and has included, among other things, double strap brackets on each side, 2 rear strap brackets for add-on straps (like the Quad Shocks strap), 4 plastic feet on the bottom to keep the bag upright and the pockets off the ground, and an insulated, large capacity beverage holder with draw string. In fact, Fade Gear says about the side pockets, "Notice the side pockets. We raised them up, away from the bag bottom so they don't drag on the ground and wear around the edges like other bags. Plus, we added some of those tiny little feet that really work well on a bag this size. They keep the bag upright (most of the time) because its no fun when your bag falls over". It's clear to us that a lot of thought and engineering went into creating this stylish bag.

In addition to the features listed above, this awesome bag weighs just 20 ounces when empty and has as adjustable padded shoulder strap.

  • Disc Golf (also known as "Frisbee Golf" and "Folf" or "Frolf" and even "Disk Golf") is played much like traditional golf. Players use flying discs (golf discs or Frisbees®) and play holes that start with a tee area and end with a Disc Golf Basket or Target. The object: complete the hole by putting your golf disc in the basket in the fewest number of throws. The sport was formalized in the 1970s and is governed by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). There are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
