The Orc DX (released in February 2005) is a close cousin to the Valkyrie and Beast. This disc is made from the same mold as the famous Champion Orc, but in Innova's DX plastic.

The Orc is similar to the Valkyrie and Beast (all are based on the same mold), but provides more stability than its cousins, making it a preferred choice for forehand players and bigger arms. The Orc is designed to provide more stability than the Valk in the early, high-speed, portion of the flight, and similar stability to the Beast at the end of its flight.

Thrown flat and hard it will go straight for a long way, and can also fight a headwind well. Lighter weights tend to be less stable at high speed, which makes them more friendly for newer players and players with less power.

Disc Golf (also known as "Frisbee Golf" and "Folf" or "Frolf" and even "Disk Golf") is played much like traditional golf. Players use flying discs (golf discs or Frisbees®) and play holes that start with a tee area and end with a Disc Golf Basket or Target. The object: complete the hole by putting your golf disc in the basket in the fewest number of throws. The sport was formalized in the 1970s and is governed by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). There are over 3,800 courses worldwide with over 3,200 in the U.S.
