The "Steady Ed" Memorial Ultimate disc commemorates the life of the founder of disc sports and disc golf, Eddie Headrick. When he passed away in 2002, it was “Steady” Ed's wish that his ashes be incorporated into discs so that he could fly. “Steady” Ed loved the Disc Golf and Frisbee® community. Ed wished for the community to have his discs and for them to have fun and play with them after he passed on.

This is a very limited edition disc, that is made from the classic Discraft Ultrastar 175g mold. All proceeds go towards the establishment of the "Steady" Ed Memorial Museum that will be built at the new National Disc Golf Center.

I've had my disc for several years. Of all my collectable discs, this one is very special! We owe it all to Ed for his insight, creativity, and determination. In my unbiased opinion, everyone should have one of these not only because of their historical significance, but also to have Ed Headrick in your OWN home or office!

Advantages: Limited run (actually how many, I'm not sure), beautiful in every way

Disadvantages: You really don't want to throw this one, except just once, so you can say you've actually played "with" the founder of disc golf!
