The Viking DX, released in October 2004, is a super-long driver that is based on the popular Viking Champion. The Viking is designed to provide more stability than a Valkyrie or Teebird, but less than a Firebird, making it a great choice for long drives that require precision accuracy. This disc is ideal for the hard-throwing beginner or experienced player who is just starting to see the need for a more stable disc.

This disc is made from Innova's easy-gripping DX plastic. Grab a little slice of Valhalla and pick up a Viking today!

I bought this disc when I first started to play, very dependable definately one of my go to for straight shots (Valkyrie for angled shots)

Advantages: Straight flyer, easy to grip and release and overall a good choice for beginners

Disadvantages: Because it does fly straight it doesn't have the turn if thrown hard enough, early release and late releases.

I am new to disc golf and use my viking for just about all my drives. Throw it flat and it goes straight as an arrow.

Advantages: Very predictable disc. Also a good roller.
